About Us

Our Story

I began playing bluegrass at an early age.  I started playing guitar at the age of 10.  Since then,  I have really come to enjoy playing the mandolin.

I have always had a passion for woodworking, but I the challenges of Lutherie excited me the most.  In 2012, I studied making mandolins with Roger Siminoff.

After that, I was hooked.  Today, I build mandolins with only the finest spruce tops available, mostly Adirondack red spruce.  The backs and sides are all highly figured  hard maple.

Variety of Musical Instruments

I build mostly mandolins, guitars, and occasionally a fiddle.

I focus my building on players who enjoy bluegrass.

Our Guarantee

My guarantee is that you will unconditionally love your new instrument.  I stand behind this so much that I do not take a deposit at the beginning of each project.  I’m strictly a custom builder with no inventory on hand.   Depending on the amount of customization involved, each instrument can take up to 6 months to complete,
